What is care value base and what are the seven principles?|||In nursing a care value base is an ethical code which governs how carers ought to act in certain situations, to be certain that they are no discriminating, being unkind or providing poor care.
The seven principles are:
1- Promoting anti-discriminatory practise.
2- Maintaining confidentiality of information.
3- Promoting individuals right to dignity.
4- Acknowledging individuals personal beliefs.
5- Protecting individuals from abuse.
6- Promoting effective communication.
7- Providing individualised care.
