show me the metod on how to do it|||Increase by 40%
240+(240*0.4)=336.|||ok, divide 240 by 10 to find 10% of it...
then times that amount by 4 to get 40%
24 x 4= 96
then 96 + 240 will increase the base value of 240 by 40%
96+240=336|||240*40/100 =6 are 240*40%=6 then add the 6 to 240 = 246
