What coin has the highest base metal value when melted?

Between the penny, nickel, dime and quarter, which coin would hold the most value pound for pound based on its metal composition? Thank you very much.|||For coins currently in circulation, the value of the metal would be worth less than the coin's face value.

In the US, old gold and silver coins would have more collector value than melt value.|||It's illegal to melt down currency.|||The gold coin... :D

Just buy inglots instead of asking for base value on monetary valued currency.

P.S. In Canada it is the loonie ($1) which has $.12 worth of metallic value|||www.coinflation.com

This website changes daily to tell you what the melt value of US coins are.
