Can someone help me. I don't know how to describe this aspect of the care value base.
Any ideas?|||It means that you have to treat those in your care as an individual and not the sum of their disabilities. ie the diabetic in bed 6.attitude.
It also means that you should respect their beliefs.
You should also ask them how they want to be addressed ie Do you want me to call you (Doris) or Mrs (Smith)
